Non-Ablative Laser
Nonablative laser and light treatments (other equivalent terms include subsurface resurfacing, photo rejuvenation, and laser toning) have been used for the aesthetic improvement of photoaged skin, acne and scarring. These treatments provide an alternative to traditional full-face laser resurfacing, an ablative modality in which carbon dioxide and/or erbium: YAG lasers are used to remove the entire epidermis and portions of the dermis. It is effective in all skin types.
Intense Pulse Light (IPL)
Intense pulsed light (IPL), also called high-intensity pulsed light therapy, is an alternative to laser therapy for improving the skin’s appearance. IPL helps decrease or erase age spots, liver spots, redness, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles and facial flushing. The technique is also beneficial in removing or diminishing broken capillaries, telangiectasias (spider veins), hemangiomas (red, purple, or blue birthmarks formed by blood vessels), minor sun damage and large pores.
Titan Laser
The Titan laser is the flagship of pure broadband light devices. It is used to safely tighten aging, sagging skin and restore its youthful appearance. Often called a “non-surgery face lift”, the Titan laser procedure quickly produces firmer skin on the face, neck and body. It is virtually painless for most patients, and the built in cooling system protects the outer skin. The entire procedure can usually be performed in less than an hour. The collagen-contracting effects of the Titan laser continue even after the procedure is completed. This laser cosmetic technique is effective for most patients of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
